Karin Sakurajousui / Gentle Brilliance

Karin Sakurajosui, the indigo representative of Powerpuff Girls Z, can transform into “Gentle Brilliance.” Her name is derived from Sakurajosui in Setagaya, Tokyo. A nationally recognized junior rhythmic gymnast, she frequently appears on television and carries an almost celebrity-like presence. She also often takes on modeling and photoshoot work. Despite attending the same school as the others, she rarely shows up, and her naturally distant aura makes her seem more like an awe-inspiring figure than someone approachable—especially compared to the popular Miyako. In truth, she is not very good at forming genuine, heartfelt connections. She makes a conscious effort to maintain an elegant demeanor, offering everyone the same polite smile while keeping a certain distance. However, deep down, she longs for close, sincere relationships where she can truly open up and be herself. Although she always appears calm and composed with a gentle smile, she actually has a very active inner world and is not as mature as she seems.
